Woods’ debut album doesn’t have just one reading and each song is a different universe that the quintet eats away savagely. They started out as a math–rock band, so the album is full of formulas and links that fill your ears with a feeling of stupefaction and misunderstanding. A mathematical labyrinth that also includes touches of jazz and psychedelia. But everything in them that could be technical or precise is also found in the form of a beast.
The album is full of intense guitars and fast drumbeats that don ́t take too long to explode with a mill metric exactness and full on screaming.
